Is this a weight loss app? No. Melia is designed to help you rebuild your relationship with food. While some people find their natural weight stabilizes when they stop dieting, our focus is entirely on your mental well-being, body-trust, and health behaviors—not the number on the scale.
How is this different from a standard food diary? Standard diaries focus on what and how much you eat. We focus on the why. By tracking your mood, energy, and hunger levels, we help you understand the emotional and physical context of your meals, which is the key to lasting food freedom.
The AI Experience
How do the AI-powered reflections work? When you log your meals and feelings, our AI-powered engine analyzes the data to find connections you might miss. For example, it might notice that you feel more bloated when you eat during a social event, or that your cravings change based on your stress levels.
Is my data private? Absolutely. Your journal entries are your own. While we use a secure AI API to generate your reflections, your data is encrypted, and we never sell your personal information to third parties.
Do I have to log every single meal? Only if you want to! Intuitive eating is about flexibility. You can log as much or as little as you feel is helpful for your own self-discovery. There are no "streaks" to break and no penalties for missing a day.
Using the App
I’ve struggled with disordered eating. Is this app safe for me? Melia is designed to be a compassionate, anti-diet tool. However, it is not a substitute for professional clinical treatment. If you are recovering from an eating disorder, please seek guidance of a healthcare professional.

You’ll unlock unlimited journal entries, advanced weekly and monthly pattern recognition, and deep-dive reflections to help you navigate specific challenges like emotional eating or social anxiety.
