3. AI PROCESSING AND THIRD PARTIES To provide our signature reflections, we utilize secure third-party AI API providers (such as OpenAI or Google).

• Processing, Not Training: We send your journal data to these providers for real-time analysis. We do not allow these providers to use your personal data to train their own AI models.

• No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal journal entries or sensitive mood data to third-party advertisers.

4. DATA SECURITY We implement industry-standard encryption to protect your data in transit and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

5. YOUR RIGHTS AND DATA DELETION

• Access & Export: You may request a copy of your data at any time.

• Deletion: You can delete your account or specific entries within the app. Once an account is deleted, your data is removed from our active databases.

• Regional Rights: If you are a resident of the EU (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have specific rights regarding data portability and the "right to be forgotten."

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY Melia is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
